What is BCA and NCC compliance?
The National Construction Code (NCC) sets the minimum technical requirements for the design and construction of buildings in Australia. The Building Code of Australia (BCA) forms the building provisions of the NCC and applies to building work across a range of building classifications.
BCA and NCC compliance involves assessing building designs, plans, specifications and supporting documentation against the applicable technical requirements, including relevant NSW variations and project-specific certification obligations.

The NCC is project-specific. Some technical matters require specialist consultant input, such as fire engineering, structural engineering, access consulting or other discipline-specific advice.
